YorkWorks is the careers branch of the Club of PEP. Its main speciality is its careers conferences: evening events where 3-4 attractive graduate employers are invited to come, speak and introduce themselves to the students of York. The firms deliver a presentation followed by a networking session where students can collect promotional material and speak to the company representatives first hand. YorkWorks collaborate with the University Careers Service, but we primarily tailor our events to the interests of PEP students. |
YorkWorks 2012 - Careers in International Development
On Thursday 13th November Yorkworks will be hosting three prestigious Organisations that work in the field of International Developement. There will be presentations from: The World Bank, The Department for International Development and Supporting Kids in Peru - a NGO working in microfinance.If you are thinking about a career in, or have an interest in International Development or in the World Bank then the YorkWorks Conference is not to be missed.
